I'm spending my morning doing some character art that I've been neglecting. My goal is to finish at least three requests today and start at least two others. So far I'm done one and almost done the second, so that's not too bad for one hour in. If I can get this goal done by noon I'll be a happy camper ( Read more... )

Urg, I need to clean this apartment by tomorrow night. However, I really really REALLY don't want to. I would employ The Boy to help, but he's working weird hours this week (as in, he did three morning shifts, an evening, and apparently has a near 20 hour shift in his near future). Not fun. Clocking in at just over 67k, the book is finally done in all its cheesy ending glory! Seriously cheesy, as in the main male character and the main female character are making out on the beach level of cheesy. I'll fix it in editing.

Now to celebrate with MOAR MORROWIND!

Today I'm trying to actually finish this damn NaNo novel. By my estimate I have to write at least another 9k words to wrap it up, so that isn't too bad. So with any luck I'll be finish the month with a 70k book. Woo!

The flu is finally starting to leave my system, though I'm still sleeping a lot more than I really should be. Without The Boy here to bug me to get out of bed I seem to have fallen into the habit of sleeping for about fourteen hours a day. Blah. I need to get back onto a better schedule for this weekend since I have to work in the mornings.

Just hit 50k! The NaNoWriMo portion of the story is now done! Yay!

Now to actually finish the novel. I'm aiming to finish it by the end of the month, which gives me ten days. Wish me luck!

I think I'm coming down with the flu. My whole chest and stomach aches today and I just feel gross all over. Blah.

On the bright side I may be able to hit 45k today if I manage to stay focused. Right now I'm promising myself to allow a sketch every 1000 words. So far I've hit the 43k mark so sketch number one is here for the curious:

I was brave and went to the all-day write-in today. I was a bit too shy to talk all that much, but everyone was friendly and I won a word war! I also managed to write a little over 6k, making my grand total so far a little over 32k.
